Fisher Construction Group is looking for traveling Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. The person in this position will operate heavy equipment, as well as assist with manual labor tasks as needed.
Wage Range
Wage Range: $33/hr to $43/hr depending on skills, experience, and willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
- Travel to different job sites as required.
- Assist with manual labor tasks such as digging, grading, and lifting, as needed.
- Work in tandem with the construction team to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, with proficiency in operating bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other relevant machinery.
- Familiarity with construction and excavation procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
- Physical fitness to withstand the demands of the job.
- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different job site environments.
