Job Summary

Fisher Construction Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing customer relationships in the commercial roofing sector. This role requires strong sales skills, technical knowledge of roofing systems, and the ability to thrive in a competitive market environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial roofing market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with building owners, property managers, and general contractors.
  • Conduct thorough roof inspections and assessments to understand customer needs and propose appropriate roofing solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to procure materials and resources necessary for project success.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Must have at least 5 years of commercial/industrial roofing experience.
  • Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Procore, etc.).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

Fisher Construction Group provides a highly competitive wage and benefits package. Depending on experience, employment offers will range between $98,000 to $112,000 annually, with a potential annual performance bonus up to $12,000.
